Domenica La Calamita – Smit, currently residing in California after hailing from Chicago, serves as the President of Talent Matchmaker. Her passion lies in assisting individuals in discovering new career paths, and she's particularly thrilled about pairing tales with the perfect organizations.
For the past four years, Domenica has been dedicated to recruiting supply chain talent leveraging her extensive background in logistics to effectively match candidates. Her accomplished career as a Supply chain industry executive includes pivotal roles as Branch Manager, Global Account Director and Vice President of sales within three of the top 20 international Freight Forwarder. She steered large branch operations in ORD and LAX before embarking on a significant journey to Central Europe, where she spearheaded European operations for a prominent forwarder.
